Hey Everybody! Its great that you’ve stopped by the site and we hope you enjoy it. BJJCANADA.CA has been created for every level of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu practitioner and features some great reviews, articles, news, videos, and much more. We take pride in our reviews on the Gi’s, apparel, and accessories, giving the viewer a non-bias and honest opinion of the products. Our news feeds are taken from some of the best sources on the net and our “Up and Coming” section highlights hard working athletes at every stage of the Jiu-Jitsu journey. The media section is something we are really excited about. It will host a number of great interviews, a move of the week from our Youtube channel, and a directory of places to train BJJ in Canada. And if your a competing athlete, or just an avid spectator,  our events section will give you some great insight on the tournaments going on in Canada and Internationally.

About Me

My name is Ryan Fleming and I started this website. The official launch of BJJCANADA.CA is November 1 2015 and its taken a great amount of effort to put together the connections we’ve made. I personally want to thank everyone for their support and help. There is so much more to come in 2016 and its an exciting opportunity for me to travel and meet different people in the growing world of BJJ in Canada. I have been training different combat sports for nearly 16 years now; wrestling, pankration, tae kwon do, Japanese Jiu-Jitsu, boxing, but none have I been so passionate about as Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. Even though life has taken me away from the sport several times in the 9 years I’ve been training, I always come back to it. Coming near to my brown belt is a very exciting and rewarding time in my life and to have such a great instructor growing up, Vince Mattei, has been a blessing. I have made some life long friends that I have trained with since the beginning and meet so many new faces. The sport has brought me to travel, train, and compete with some amazing people and I’m grateful for this.
