Spider Guard Sweep

This is a great sweep and can prove very effective. It took me a few months of practicing it to get it right and working on higher level opponents. Its great from the spider guard but has to be explosive. Another way to set this up is when you establish the the one arm hook and he tries to pass and ends up in your half guard. The trick is here to pretend to let him think he’s passing. When you “give” him what he thinks he earned you strike and take his momentum. The disclaimer here is their ability to cross face and smash pass you is higher. Give it a go and have fun with it. Ossss
